A California native, David Morgan began playing piano at 5 years old.  He started playing in bands at age 11 and hasn’t stopped!  Moving to New Orleans in 1989 to study with jazz masters Ellis Marsalis and Harold Battiste at The University of New Orleans was a true turning point in his musical education. It was there that he studied by day and gigged with Nicholas Payton, Brian Blade, Brice Winston, James Rivers, Neal Caine and Jeremy Davenport by night. Moving to New York, his career took some wonderful turns. Performing with Peter Himmelman, Wynton Marsalis and actress Jane Lynch were some of the highlights. His small group eclectic, funky and soulful style of playing and writing is a true joy to be a part of.  “New Orleans left some funk on him!”  - Harold Battiste Doors 6:30pm / Sets at 7:30pm & 9pm / One ticket is valid for both sets, seating for the 9pm set is based upon availability 7:30PM SHOW TICKETS $15-$25
